General Information for your Wadi Rum Adventure
We recommend arriving at the Wadi Rum Village between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM if you'd like to begin your desert tour the same day. If your tour begins the next day, you can check in between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
Your night will be spent at our desert camp beneath the stars—a magical and unforgettable way to connect with nature.
Enjoy a traditional Bedouin dinner served by the campfire under the Milky Way. After your meal, we'll provide mattresses, blankets, and carpets for sleeping under the open sky. For added comfort or cooler nights, we also offer cozy two-person tents.
Dinner typically includes meat with rice, vegetables, and fresh salad. If you're a vegetarian or have dietary needs, just let us know when you arrive in Wadi Rum Village, and we’ll happily prepare something special for you.
Each tour package includes:
All meals
Mineral water
English-speaking Bedouin guides
Camping equipment
When you arrive in the village, we recommend packing a small day bag with only the essentials for your tour. There’s no need to bring all your luggage in the Jeep.
If you’d like to buy snacks, supplies, or souvenirs, please do so before the tour starts in Wadi Rum Village. Once you're in the desert, it's not easy to return unless absolutely necessary.
Our campsite is eco-friendly; We have bivouac tents and a small facility for showers and toilets. When camping with us on a multi-day tour, there are no facilities in the desert, including showers or toilets. However, we provide fresh water for washing, and you'll find plenty of private natural spots nearby to refresh or change.
Please bring:
Toilet paper
Wet wipes
A lighter (to burn used toilet paper responsibly)
A small plastic bag for personal waste
*If you need a shower, please let us know and we will arrange for one nearby.
Wadi Rum is beautiful year-round. It gets chilly in the winter, especially at night, so please bring warm clothing.
We provide extra blankets and tents if the weather doesn’t allow for sleeping under the stars. The desert cave stays warmer, thanks to natural rock insulation and a cozy campfire.
Please note: We accept cash only, paid at the end of your stay.
There are no ATMs in Wadi Rum Village, so plan ahead and bring the cash you’ll need with you.
The entrance fee is 5 JD per person, paid at the Visitor Center.
If you have a Jordan Pass, show it at the entrance to waive the fee. Make sure it is stamped at the gate.
From the Visitor Center, drive 6 km to reach Wadi Rum Village.
Please follow the location link on our website to reach our traditional home in Wadi Rum Village. You’ll be welcomed with Bedouin tea and a short briefing before your tour begins.
At the end of your trip, we’ll drive you back to the parking area where your car is waiting.
