For the Wild at Heart—Walk Where Only Wind and Footsteps Go

If you want to truly connect with nature and experience the calm, untouched corners of Wadi Rum, hiking is the perfect way to explore the desert.

Your journey begins with one of our experienced, English-speaking Bedouin guides who will take you far from the crowds, sharing desert secrets passed down through generations. You’ll walk through stunning landscapes, including the serene white desert, and discover hidden spots and quiet trails where time stands still. Along the way, keep an eye out for birdlife, animal tracks, and of course, camels and goats roaming freely.

While you hike, a second guide will travel ahead by Jeep, carrying your belongings, food, and camping equipment. At each rest stop, you’ll be greeted with a freshly prepared meal and a cozy space to relax before continuing on foot. The Jeep remains nearby throughout the journey, available if anyone in the group needs a short break from walking.

This tour is ideal for those who love to walk and want to spend two or more days immersed in the desert. If you wish to extend your stay, simply let us know—we’re happy to tailor the experience to your pace.

Hikes can range from 2 to 7 hours per day, depending on your preferences and the route we plan together. Most guests let us know how long they’d like to walk before their arrival so we can design the perfect trekking experience.
